Kennedy Performing Arts Collective Celebrates Grand Opening in Loudonville

Kennedy Performing Arts Collective (KPAC) officially celebrated the grand opening of its new Loudonville location on June 12, welcoming community members, families, local business leaders, and supporters to tour the facility and learn more about the opportunities now available through this innovative new arts and wellness center.

Founded by Capital Region sisters Niki Kennedy Reed and Tara Kennedy Judd, KPAC brings together Kennedy Talent and Kennedy Movement under one roof, creating a destination for performing arts education, dance training, wellness programming, talent development, and mentorship for children and adults alike.

The opening comes at the perfect time for families looking to secure engaging summer opportunities for their children. KPAC's inaugural summer programming lineup is designed to help students build confidence, develop skills, and explore their creative potential in a supportive and professional environment.

Summer offerings include:

Matilda Jr. Summer Camp (July 6-19), a two-week musical theater experience featuring singing, acting, dancing, rehearsals, and live performances.

Dance Sampler Workshops (July 21, 23, 28, and 30), allowing dancers to explore multiple dance styles while improving technique and building confidence.

Broadway Summer Camp (August 10-13), where participants will sing, dance, act, and perform Broadway-inspired numbers while developing stage presence and performance skills.

In addition to youth programming, KPAC will offer adult Pilates classes and wellness programs designed to promote movement, strength, and overall well-being.

What sets KPAC apart is its connection to the professional performing arts industry. Through Kennedy Talent, students and families will have access to guidance from current Broadway performers and industry professionals who will help aspiring performers navigate auditions, talent development, and the entertainment industry.

The studio will also provide support to parents and students interested in pursuing professional opportunities, offering coaching and mentorship on everything from audition preparation and performance training to talent management and career development.

"This space feels like a culmination of everything I’ve loved about my career. My sister and I have collaborated as professionals and artists working alongside Broadway stars, talent agents, and industry professionals. Together, we can’t wait to bring a top-tier mentorship program to this new generation of talent. KPAC is about combining all of our experiences together to create a home for aspiring performers by giving them the tools they need to pursue their dreams," said Tara Judd.

"Ever since I can remember, I’ve been passionate about helping people grow. Whether through dance, Pilates, fitness, or simply helping clients achieve their goals, KPAC gives me a space where all of those passions can come together under one roof. KPAC is a home for people of all ages and abilities to excel and take their training to the next level. This space allows my sister and I to bring professional training to our local community in an inspiring and supportive environment,” said Niki Reed.

Drawing on years of professional experience in New York City's performing arts community, the sisters created KPAC to bring high-level training, mentorship, and opportunities directly to families in the Capital Region.

"Too often, families have had to travel to larger markets to access the level of training, guidance, and industry connections needed to pursue opportunities in the performing arts," said Niki Reed. "Our goal is to bring those resources here while creating a welcoming space where every student can build confidence, discover their talents, and grow as both performers and individuals."

Summer program registration is currently open, with limited space remaining in several offerings. For more information about programs, auditions, talent development services, or wellness classes, visit www.kennedymovement.com or email info@kennedymovement.com.
