Viola's Cafe Celebrated Grand Opening on Monday, July 15, 2013

The Colonie Chamber of Commerce held a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for Viola’s Café - A New Business in Colonie, NY

Ribbon Cutting Ceremony – Monday, July 15 at 4:00 p.m.


Colonie, N.Y. – Viola’s Café, a new business in Colonie, NY, opened at the Monte Mario Motel, 947 Loudon Rd. Latham, NY, in early June. Owners, Scott MacPherson, veteran music producer/engineer, and Cindy Therrault, interior designer, held a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on Monday, July 15 at 4:00 p.m. with help from the Colonie Chamber of Commerce.

 

Viola’s Café specializes in a 'Farm to Table' approach with fresh sandwiches, salads (with house made dressings), homemade soups, and side dishes along with deviled eggs and oven fresh cookies. They roast turkey, bake fresh ham, and make Italian-style meatloaf for handcrafted sandwiches with locally baked bread and grown produce.

 

“We're trying to support our local and regional farmers in everyway possible in the available months,” explains MacPherson.

 

Along with catering lunch for office parties and special events, Viola's Café offers private dinner parties for 10–20 people and picnic lunches for summer outings.

 

Viola’s Café is open Tuesday through Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Breakfast sandwiches and homemade garden quiche will be available from 8:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and lunch from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Schedule your next office event, picnic, or private party with Viola’s Café (518-786-9800).
